THP SHARES NEW VIDEO FROM MEMPHIS PROTEST: The Tennessee Highway Patrol is responding to social media posts from Memphis suggesting a protestor was hit by a trooper. This morning, THP released video that shows a protestor holding on to the front of a trooper's vehicle, lie down, and then stand up afterwards, later leaving the scene under his own power. THP says this contradicts narratives circulating on social media. They also warn going into the road can create a "serious and immediate risk". |
