Before the metal mask, MF DOOM’s original mask was designed by graffiti writer KEO and used in his first three music videos. That early version helped establish the identity that would shape DOOM’s mythology. After it was badly damaged during the ‘?’ video shoot with Kurious Jorge, KEO tried to repair it but ultimately chose to replace it with a real metal mask. That moment gave birth to the iconic ‘Gladiator’ mask most people associate with MF DOOM today. #mfdoom #doomsday
