To celebrate this incredible animal, I’m sharing my moose wool sculpture — built from a sturdy wire armature, shaped with layers of wool, and finished with planted long fibres for a realistic fur coat. The wool-and-wax antlers are one of my favourite details to sculpt. Moose are known for their quiet strength and calm, watchful presence, and I’ve tried to capture that spirit in this piece.
