Did you know the Brighton Recreation Center is one of the only facilities to offer a mermaid and merman academy? That’s right, our classes teach “merfolks,” ages 5 and older (must be able to swim full length of pool), safety etiquette, mermaid history, mermaid and merman posing and how to swim with a monofin.
