Specifically they're called the "SMART Drivers" although they do a lot more than just manage the technical interface between the whiteboard and a PC - hence the tools I'm using.

Jul 3, 2020 · Hi my MS-Whiteboard's pens and eraser worked for a while, but after I displayed the ruler, now all the mouse does is move/pan the canvas. no matter what pen is selected the mouse doesn't draw with that pen, instead it moves/pans the entire board. How do I get out of that pan mode and go back to drawing mode? Thanks

The original content was created around 3-4 years ago -- and I can tell it's old because the UI is different. There's no select all option for the old whiteboard, so when I try to copy it's only copying individual objects.

I'm using a Surface Pro (5th Generation) with Windows 10 Pro OS Build 19042.804 and Surface Pen Firmware v 193.1701.370.0. When I am drawing on a shared whiteboard in Zoom, the pen makes extra lines. It seems to be drawing polygons when I want to draw a single line, so I get two lines almost on top of each other.

If you had a big screen, you couldn't use whiteboard practically with gestures. Please get in touch if I can help with any thinking since run a software company for nearly 20 years.
