THX turned on automatically when I started the computer and the synapse changed modes itself, depending on whether I was listening to music, playing games or watching movies/videos. Aug 26, 2022 · The spatial audio still worked but was not as crisp and it came with Realtek Audio manager so I knew THX became secondary application instead of hardware enforced. At first I thought the name change came with the update but the sound was not as crisp and Razer mentioned system restore but that did not work and windows 11 deleted my old OS.

Nov 16, 2020 · Otherwise the THX option is probably doing surround by taking a 7.1 (or 5.1) signal, downmixing it and applying an impulse response to simulate surround. Dolby Atmos can also do this for games that don't support spatial sound if you have a DAC capable of using virtual 7.1 (or are willing to jump some hoops to work around a DAC that doesn't).

only the "razer usb sound card" works, however it sounds like shit. btw, the "thx spatial audio" is not the same as the "spatial audio", what you want is the "thx spatial audio", my razer blackshark v2 has built in thx spatial audio on it automatically the first time i plugged it in from last year until the newest update 4 days ago where it broke.

Mar 24, 2021 · Once I installed the THX Spatial drivers, my Gateway Ryzen 5 3450u improved my sound 100%. It works better on external speakers too and/or attached headphones. If you experience the same thing after installing the THX Spatial Audio drivers, then I think the ACER guys might not have noticed.

Try to repair it again. Also I guess you can try to uninstall all drivers from device manager which are related to "THX" then uninstall THX Spatial Audio from Control panel then run repair on razer synapse and restart your PC and do your EQ (in case you don't have it configured already) and you must experience the difference between stereo and THX.

Oct 9, 2020 · In synapse under the audio tab> mixer tab> brings up thx toggle & list of games/programs with sound output. csgo says supports thx in green with a drop down menu that gives stereo/surround and 2 thx options but valorant does not have the green text or extra options.
