Since entering the tour in 1998, Roger Federer has used many racquets. Starting with the tiny 85 sq. in. Pro Staff Original 6.0 in 1998, then moving to a 90 sq. in. Hyper Pro Staff 6.0, and finally to a 97 sq. in. Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph. There were many limited edition racquets along the way.

The RF 01 Pro is the fourth Roger Federer tennis racket developed for his professional career. During his career, Roger Federer used the Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 85", the Wilson Pro Staff Tour 90", and the Wilson Pro Staff RF97 Autograph (nearly 20 different cosmetics).
