Jul 30, 2017 · Whenever i start a game it runs fine for a few minutes but then the screen turns brownish with some strange vertical lines aross it and it just freezes. If i restart the system everything starts up fine. The gpu always ran on the factory overclock and i haven't made any changes regarding software or hardware in a long time.

Apr 30, 2019 · If what you're dealing with is indeed backlight bleed, a replacement screen/laptop/RMA service will almost certainly leave you with a similar looking screen (maybe better, maybe worse). If what you're looking at is more like discoloration on any given image, that's a defect that should more likely be covered under warranty or warrant a return ...

Aug 28, 2024 · That's a bit vague. What windows have a brown tint, or do you mean everything on the screen is affected? If it's the latter then head over to Settings -> System -> Display -> Night light. Toggle it off it's currently enabled.

This sounds very much like the screen or back lights inside the screen are failing. One thing you can try is unplug the tv POWER cord for 3 full minutes, plug back in, test. Also verify the issue happens on all inputs, the streaming apps/HOME screens.
