Mikel Arteta has cast doubt over whether Arsenal have it in them to win "big trophies" following a costly week in they exited the FA Cup and are hanging by a thread in the Carabao Cup.

There is going to be something of an overhaul of players at Arsenal Football Club in the next few months. Whether it is this month or in the summer transfer window, a number of players are going to be leaving the club as Mikel Arteta looks to change his plans and overhaul his playing squad.

Arsenal could be forced into a bold January transfer raid after losing Gabriel Jesus for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. Jesus suffered an ACL injury in Arsenal's FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United with the Brazil international scoring six goals in his previous six appearances for the Gunners.
