Two brothers are suspected of operating a money laundering scheme involving taking payments for cars they didn’t own.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public to be cautious when purchasing items on Facebook Marketplace after a Porterville man was scammed out of thousands of dollars.
