While she's had a decades-long career with plenty of iconic roles, Kate Hudson admits there's one role she didn't take that she now regrets: Andrea Sachs in the 2006 film, The Devil Wear's Prada.

The iconic 2006 comedy-drama saw wannabe journalist Andy butt heads against cinema’s most horrible boss – the terrifying Miranda Priestly, as played by Meryl Streep. The role was famously played by Anne Hathaway, who won acclaim for her performance as the unlucky junior assistant turned scapegoat.

Kate Hudson admitted on the “Capital Breakfast” radio show (via Entertainment Weekly) that turning down “ The Devil Wears Prada ” was “a bad call.” Before Anne Hathaway was cast as Andrea “Andy” Sachs, director David Frankel met with the likes of Hudson, Rachel McAdams, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst.
