The current disruptive pattern combat uniform, referred to as DPCU or Auscam, was developed to replace the jungle green uniform worn by Australian troops in Vietnam.

The new Disruptive Pattern Navy Uniform (DPNU) is based on the tradition AUSCAM pattern but is not intended to be used for actual camouflage purposes.

Since Auscam was founded, Ms Dowse has saved more than 3,000 women and girls from the industry. Auscam volunteers work with teachers at schools to identify girls at risk of trafficking.
