Chrysler is recalling more than 120,000 Jeep SUVs due to a safety issue with the second-row head restraints that could increase injury risk during crashes.

Chrysler reported the recall to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on July 17. The recall affects 121,398 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles from model years 2023 and 2024.

A recall has been issued for thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokees because of a head restraint issue that may increase the risk of injury to passengers.
