A transatlantic Air France flight bound for Boston turned tragic when a passenger, later identified as Kansas Air National Guard member Barbara DiPoli, passed away mid-flight on 14 January.

A woman who died on an Air France flight has been identified as a member of the Kansas Air National Guard, according to authorities.

Barbara Dipoli, 53, was a passenger on a flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Boston Logan International Airport when she suffered a medical episode.
