Could Supernatural be making a comeback? The CW drama came to an end in November 2020 after 15 seasons and was the network’s longest-running scripted series. Supernatural briefly came back in the form of prequel series The Winchesters starring Drake Rodger and Meg Donnelly in 2022.

“I would love to claim it as a Supernatural reference,” he tells TV Insider with a laugh. “But that’s the title of the episode. To me, it just speaks to that, a lot of people have told him, ‘You’re dead,’ that he’s been in all of these moments before, and guess what? He’s a survivor. So that’s what he’s [saying there].”

While the stars of The Boys are ending their time on the no-so-heroic superhero series with their fifth and final season, the 2025 TV schedule brought fans word of that upcoming season giving us a big Supernatural cast reunion as Jensen Ackles will be joined by Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins when the hit returns next year.
