A father of two was safely rescued from off the coast of Australia's Rottnest Island after being stranded for five hours.

The dog was found alive with the help of a drone about two miles downriver from where they fell in, authorities said.

Crews arrived and discovered a woman and man in the water of Holt’s Lake near U.S. 301 between Four Oaks and Smithfield.
