Around 145,000 people in the UK are affected by Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson’s UK e xplains. This means that around one in every 350 adults is living with the degenerative condition.

Parkinson’s care accounts for £3bn per year, a figure set to grow as Parkinson’s UK estimates an increase in people living with the condition to 172,000 by 2030.
