NEW YORK (AP) — Popular online services across the globe were disrupted Thursday due to ongoing issues at Google Cloud. Tens of thousands of users of Spotify, Discord and other platforms began noticing issues with their services early in the afternoon, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages.

For an uncomfortable stretch on Thursday, a self-inflicted outage wiped out popular websites and services, including Google's own.

The Cloudflare dashboard is showing a "broad" service outage. According to Cloudflare, the company is seeing "intermittent failures" that they are investigating. It's not clear yet what is causing these failures. On the Google Workplace status page, a new report has gone up.
