Today, there are four Goodyear blimps – three in North America and one in Germany. Each blimp is 18 meters high, 75 meters long, and holds enough helium to fill three Olympic-sized swimming pools.

The blimp’s basic technology hasn’t changed much over the years. Two balloons, or ballonets, inside the blimp are inflated with air and are surrounded by about 300,000 cubic feet of helium.
