Duke Farms in Hillsborough is finding a reason to celebrate as three bald eagle chicks recently fledged from their nest. The chicks, known as eaglets, were identified as H57, H58, and H59.

Big Bear's beloved bald eagles, Jackie and Shadow, are a step closer to becoming empty nesters after one of their two female eaglets took her first flight from the nest.

Both eaglets, Sunny and Gizmo, at the Big Bear bald eagle nest are female. Gizmo, the younger eaglet, is larger than her older sister, Sunny. Sunny has begun short test flights near the nest.
