Paris businessman Brad Simon has the largest campaign war chest of the candidates for the Senate seat formerly held by the late Sen. Gary Stubblefield, R-Branch, based on their latest campaign finance reports.

The Libertarian Party of Arkansas announced earlier this week that they earned enough signatures for their candidates to appear on ballots in 2026.

Important information related to the Arkansas Senate District 26 election has been released by the Franklin County clerk. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders certified the seat vacancy on Sept. 15, two days after Sen. Gary Stubblefield was honored and laid to rest in Franklin County.
