Authorities in northern California have confirmed the recovery of the bodies of seven people who had been reported missing following last week's explosion of a warehouse storing fireworks near Sacramento.

Seven people were "unaccounted for" in Yolo County's town of Esparto after several explosions at a fireworks warehouse resulted in a fire, officials said.

The explosion, which left seven people missing, started a wildfire and forced some cities and counties to cancel or postpone Fourth of July fireworks shows.
