Akash Deep took six wickets as India crushed England by 336 runs to level the series at 1-1 on Sunday after they bowled out the hosts for 271 to claim their first test victory at Edgbaston and Shubman Gill's first win as captain.

Virat Kohli, a long-time advocate for Test cricket, was quick to applaud Team India after their emphatic win at Edgbaston — one of the team's finest overseas victories. The former skipper didn’t hold back in showing his pride and appreciation for the team’s performance.
