The Atlanta Falcons continued their search for a defensive coordinator by conducting a virtual interview with New York Jets interim coach and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, the team announced Wednesday.

The Atlanta Falcons have been linked to another name in their defensive coordinator search. According to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, former NFL head coach Steve Wilks is slated to interview with the Falcons next week.

Jeff Ulbrich is keeping his options open. The Jets interim head coach completed an interview with the Falcons for their vacant defensive coordinator position on Wednesday. Ulbrich, 47, has plenty of connections with the Falcons, a team with which he held various defensive coaching positions from 2015-20.
