A documentary chronicling the making of the fifth and final season of sci-fi series "Stranger Things" is set to premiere on Netflix Jan. 12.

The documentary's trailer teases interviews with the show's creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, emotional on set moments and highlights of the show's beloved cast.

Season 5 of Stranger Things has one volume remaining, with Volume 3, which serves as the series finale, arriving tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 31, New Year's Eve. All of these episodes premiere at unusual times, compared to the previous seasons, landing on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT .

News of the spin-off was followed by an announcement for a Netflix documentary series that chronicles the making of Stranger Things Season 5. The series will release on January 12, 2026, giving fans the opportunity to bid adieu to their favorite characters one final time.

"Stranger Things" ended with a ratings splash, with its finale catapulting Season 5 to become Netflix's 9th most English-language series ever.
