Snoopy has come home. The "world famous astronaut" splashed down on NASA's Artemis 1 Orion spacecraft in December, and now Snoopy has been removed from the capsule.

NASA has featured Snoopy on wall posters since first partnering with Schulz in 1968. The beagle has been drawn into designs for the Apollo, space shuttle and International Space Station programs.

The new Peanuts movie is opening soon in Germany, in which Snoopy dogfights the Red Baron. But in his home country, the WWI fighter pilot is barely remembered.
