Six states have primary elections on Tuesday. If you live in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Oregon or Pennsylvania, and are registered, you will likely have the opportunity to vote for a major party candidate.
Georgia's elections Tuesday include competitive GOP primaries for U.S. Senate and for governor. Meanwhile, Democrats hope an enthusiastic turnout helps them flip two state supreme court seats.
On the ballot are party nominations for governor, lieutenant governor, representative in Congress, half of all state Senate seats, all seats in the state House and the state committee.
The winner of the May 19 Democratic primary for Kentucky's open U.S. Senate seat will face the Republican nominee in November.
