AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — There’s a new Miss Alabama USA in town and she’s one of our very own! Miss Auburn-Opelika Kelly Hutchinson earned her crown Saturday at the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Going into the 2022 Miss Alabama USA pageant she had one goal in mind: “I didn’t want to win as somebody else,” Vinson said. “I didn’t want to win trying to be someone they wanted me to be.

The Miss Alabama USA pageant will feature contestants between the ages of 18 to 27. The preliminary competition will be held on Friday evening, followed by the final competition on Saturday evening.
