Tuesday is LeBron James ' birthday. He's 41. That's not so old for a person. But for a basketball player, even one as supremely talented and fit as LeBron, it's a pretty advanced age.

On Tuesday, for the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James will play in his 57th game since turning 40. It will also be his first as a 41 year old.

"It's hard to get back. We're not getting back," James acknowledged after the Lakers fell to 20-11 in their final game of the year.

Miami pushed its winning streak to 23 straight by beating the Boston Celtics 105-103. James' fingerprints were all over the victory, scoring 37 points with 12 assists and finishing this alley-oop over longtime foil, Jason Terry. The streak eventually settled at 27 games, the second longest in NBA history.
