Trout fishing ... cost of their fishing licenses go up, but for those who just want to get out and wet a line a couple of times in a year, there’s good news. You can fish for free.

On Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, people can fish across Kentucky without a license or trout permit being required.

Oregon officials are stocking local lakes with trout in advance of free fishing on Black Friday, Nov. 24. That means anglers will have a good shot at catching trout in a number of lakes next week.
