Charlottesville’s Dave Matthews Band is coming to Richmond this summer. The band announced Tuesday that it will be playing at the new Allianz Amphitheater for two nights - July 15 and 16. It’ll be the band’s first performance in Richmond in 30 years.

The Dave Matthews Band has played a 3-night-set at the Gorge on Labor Day weekend every year he has toured since 2006.

Each summer, several bands and artists come and go from the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, performing for their Central Indiana fans. In recent years, one band has become a constant presence at the venue each season.

The tour does not include any stops in Pennsylvania but does include shows in New York, New Jersey and Maryland.
