The Los Angeles Lakers always seem to find a gem in the draft that becomes a staple throughout their tenure with the purple and gold. This year, they got a steal and selected Dalton Knecht with the 17th overall pick.

Former Tennessee basketball player Dalton Knecht is involved in a NBA trade with the Lakers to Charlotte, Shams Charania of ESPN announced. "The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap to the Charlotte Hornets for center Mark Williams, sources tell ESPN," Charania said.
