China's commerce ministry said on Wednesday it would extend its anti-dumping investigation into brandy originating from the European Union by three months, less than the full extension allowed under its previous guidance.

China will extend the investigation period on the anti-dumping probe of European Union brandy producers until April 5, 2025, given the complexity of the case, which found that EU brandy producers were dumping certain products in China, threatening to cause substantial damage to the domestic industry, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
