Riverside Cemetery, the resting place for such famous Ashevillians as Thomas Wolfe and Zebulan Vance, is in the process of being marked for an interactive GIS (Geographic Information Systems) map.

There is no cemetery plat map despite more than 800 grave markers on-site, making the GIS marker program necessary.
