Sheriff's deputies in Missouri came to the rescue of a spider monkey wearing a pink tutu near a busy highway. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said on social media that deputies responded to the area of Highways 21 and M on "reports of a subject monkeying around.

An escaped spider monkey in a pink tutu was rescued on the side of a Missouri highway after running up to a sheriff’s deputy and tugging on his pant leg in search of help.

Deputies in Missouri encountered a “bananas” situation when they came face to face with a nearly-naked suspect. But the suspect — a spider monkey dressed in a tutu — was no match for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
