THE Queen has adopted an eight-week-old rescue puppy and named her Moley — because she looks like a mole. Camilla wanted another dog after her Jack Russell terrier Beth died aged 13 in November.

Queen Camilla revealed that she and King Charles III adopted a rescue puppy after the death of their dog last November. Camilla, 77, shared the news while meeting a partially-sighted museum group at Beaney House of Art & Knowledge in Canterbury, Kent, England, on Tuesday, February 25.

Rebecca reported that Moley was born on Boxing Day, and that the puppy's mother is half Jack Russell, while her father’s breed is unknown. Moley was rescued from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which Her Majesty is patron of.

As well as her new pup Moley, Camilla also still has rescue dog Bluebell, who was adopted from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Beth and Bluebell were embroidered in golden thread on her Bruce Oldfield coronation gown.
