Detroit police are asking the public for help to find a suspect who shot and wounded a man on a city bus Wednesday. Officials said the shooting happened at about 7:25 a.m. on a Detroit Department of Transportation, or DDOT, bus in the area of Eight Mile Road and Mt. Elliott Street on the city's east side.

Each shooting this week stemmed from some sort of dispute with feelings of disrespect and shame, Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison said.
