Former Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant reportedly tried to recruit a former Detroit Pistons forward to Phoenix last season.

The Houston Rockets announced Monday that Kevin Durant will be rocking the No. 7 next season after wearing the No. 35 during his time with the Phoenix Suns. Durant has worn the No. 35 at every stop in his career except with the Brooklyn Nets (No. 7) and now the Rockets.

The Kevin Durant era with the Phoenix Suns has officially come to an end. With the new league year starting, the Suns were able to complete their seven-team trade with Durant going to the Houston Rockets in a blockbuster deal.
