Violence has escalated in the occupied territory over the last year and a half, as Israel conducts raids targeting armed fighters with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Multiple Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians have been reported in parts of the occupied West Bank after gunmen killed three Israelis and injured eight others earlier on Monday in the latest explosion of violence there.

Palestinian officials said two children were among three people killed in an Israeli air strike on the occupied West Bank on Wednesday which the military said targeted militants.
