CINCINNATI (AP) — Major League Baseball will produce and distribute local broadcasts for the Cincinnati Reds next season. The announcement was made on Thursday after a judge in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Houston approved the Reds and Diamond Sports Group ending their joint venture.

The Reds announced Major League Baseball will produce and distribute their games for the 2025 season. The new arrangement will give more Reds fans in the Club's home television market the opportunity to watch games on television or to stream digitally for locally distributed games.

What had been long suspected became official Thursday as the Cincinnati Reds announced their home games would be produced and distributed by Major League Baseball. The Reds’ hunt for a new broadcast partner began last week when it terminated its joint venture with Diamond Sports Group,
