A suspected arsonist was wrestled to the ground by angry neighbors. It could have ended in violence without "Chicago Fire" actor Brian J. White. He ran outside to find a tense situation as the 39-year-old suspect struggled with neighbors.

Actor Brian J. White explained how training for on-screen roles helped him to detain an illegal immigrant on his neighbor's property who was allegedly threatening to use a blowtorch in LA fire zone.

White and two of his neighbors eventually cornered a man with a blowtorch who had earlier attempted to set White’s trash on fire, and another resident in the neighborhood’s discarded Christmas tree on fire before being chased by a neighbor, who caught up with the man outside of White’s residence.
