I love the legend of king Arthur and Merlin. This was a great day. Picked the perfect time to go as the tide was out and we were able to go inside the cave. Not easy to access so take care.Full review by natchanning

Unfortunately, it would be. It was extremely dangerous and difficult for our group of fit & healthy youngsters. It's very inaccessible, so I would encourage you not to risk it.
Where do you park to visit the cave and beach but not the castle?

I'm not 100% sure but i think the only acces to the cave and the cove beach is through the castle which you have to pay for to visit. This is how we got to it by following the route around the castle and down to Merlin's cave. There is a carpark on main street just up from the castle i believe it was £3 for the day.
