It also packed with National Trust properties pubs and tearooms. A little further away around a fifteen-minute drive away is the town of Ambleside from where visitors can take cruises on Lake Windermere to Bowness and Lakeside. It is a popular tourism hub and as such offers a range of shops and eateries. The location of the property means that it is a wonderful base for everyone who wants to explore the region on foot whether they want a gentle stroll or a challenging climb.
