Hi, we will visit Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, designed by indigenous stonemason Zeferino Gutiérrez in the late 19th century; Oratorio de San Felipe Neri (dates from the 18th century); Biblioteca Pública (its housing one of the largest collections of books and magazines in English in Latin America and functions as a cultural center); Escuela de Bellas Artes (its a fine-arts school since 1938);Mercado de Artesanias; Museo Histórico de San Miguel de Allende (this is the house where Mexican independence hero Ignacio Allende was born), Templo de la Concepción (a splendid church with a fine altar and several magnificent old oil paintings), art / design studios and galleries etc. Most of our tours are private and semiprivate.
