Bratislava train station has trains and buses to Vienna. We took a train from Vienna to Bratislava - it was the OBB (Austrian train company) but there are also ReggioJet trains available - just be sure which one you book with! It is about an hour trip. The Bratislava train station is about a 20 minute walk from the old town area.

Yes it would take only 5-10 minutes based on viewing docking sites when I visited but at that time no vessels were present
