We stayed in the Design Metropol Hotel, good hotel in a perfect location. Very easy to jump on the metro or trams. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Klementinum
So it's clear that we are not allowed to take a photo of library but how about if you pay extra? I've read somewhere that you can take a photo in case you pay for opportunity. Is it true or false? or not anymore?

You can only take pictures of the library rooms from the doorway of those rooms. I hope I make this logistical point clear.

I managed to negotiate a reduction on the price on the night, but this may be because there were plenty of seats available. The venue is near the Charles Bridge, so very central. Sorry don't know how near it is to your hotel.
