This was free with the Dubrovnik Pass and so we visited, and it's a very pretty, tranquil place with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world. There's also an actual working pharmacy in the building…Full review by TheTrivialPursuits

We only saw the monastery from the outside. It is beautiful and architecturally stunning. A must see when in the area. I took my photos from the doorway.Full review by HolidaymakerfromHove

Dear Sir; Is there a staff at the Franciscan Monastery, or anyone around that knows any of the late 1800's early 1900's history of the monastery. Specifically, we are looking for information about a young boy who was taken in by the monks in a monastery in Dubrovnik and became a very capable translator for them around this aforementioned time period. He left around the age of 18 and came to America. My Grandson is his Great, Great Grandson and is looking for information about his Great, Great Grandfather. Any information that can be provided is greatly appreciated. We will be traveling to Dubrovnik in late June and would like to visit and tour the monastery where my Grandson's Great, Great Grandfather lived during the formative period of his life.

I think there is no staff, but maybe you can ask monks.

There are car parks outside the city walls as the old town is a pedestrian only area (apart from occasional authorised service and police vehicles) - the car parks are at varying distances from just outside and hence a few minutes walk to the centre to those ten to fifteen minutes walk away.
