About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. The first parcels of the property were acquired in 1990 by Johnny Morris, founder/CEO of Bass Pro Shops. The park is owned and managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the canyon’s natural plant and wildlife environment.

With it being summer you should. There is a phone number on their website. When my husband and I went it was on July 3rd and I got us tickets into Dogwood plus the tram ride and tickets to the golf cart activity at Top of the Rock out total for the two of us was $190.00. It was worth it. After we did the tram we saw the tree house and looked at the museum then headed to Big Cedar lodge to do the top of the rock, museum and see the church. We had to pay $10.00 to park when we got there. They have a nice gift shop at both locations. The lodge has more souvenirs to choose from. If you have any other questions feel free to ask
Q:
Is it open now?
