Cascais is a cute little town - has a beach vibe like lost towns, but with some neat old architecture mixed with new. The old town is worth wandering about for a bit.Full review by msa23_2000

Liked Cascais a lot. Beautiful buildings and a nice atmosphere. A good day out from Faro - and nice food! Easy Tain journey with great views along the way. would recommend!Full review by TeAOcym

I did the free walking tour the second day and was amazed!! You meet at the train station at 10:30 and look for with a person with umbrella. I had David and he was fantastic. It's 2 to 2 1/2 hours and it's not strenuous but you do get the History and tour of what's in this little city. Please tip as that is their only income. I am here on my third week and still follow his tour to get around.

Not sure. There is a big pool in the Oeiras Marina which looked public. You might want to ping them by email. Google search portoderecreio oeirasviva

Yes. There are craft stalls and shops, especially the ones selling bags, wallets etc made from Cork.
