"I spent about 2 months vetting various different companies to build a shed in my back yard. I had always wanted a workshop and since we didn't have a garage, I needed more room. My skills have improved beyond the basement shop. After about 6 different builders, I finally found myself at JDM on 23. \n\n The salesman, Jason, took the time to listen to what I wanted, built the shed with me to match the one I had designed on their website. They were able to complete the project from start to finish themselves and I didn't need to hire a separate contractor for the gravel base. \n\n James laid the foundation and a week later a team of 3 amazing tradesmen came out and had it built in an hour and a half. \n\n JDM was the only company out of 4 we hired in the last month to do work that actually gave a TIME and date. They also showed up in the 2 hour window. Most the other companies just showed up with no precall or anything. \n\n I cannot tell you how happy I am about this new chapter in my woodworking adventures. The crew was done so early, I was able to lay the floor and start building the lofts. \n\nThank you again!"

"On July 6, 2025 I placed an order at the Morse Rd. store for several items including some vinyl flooring that needed cutting. A couple of the items were on sale. The next morning I got a call that their vinyl cutting machine was down so the order was on hold. I needed the flooring for a job so I called this store to make sure I could get it done that day. They said yes. When I went to place the order the items were no longer on sale. Both stores said there was no way to transfer the order over but this store said if I brought my receipt in within 14 days they would adjust the price. I went ahead a placed the order even though my contractor had to drive across town and wait for it to be ready. He got the order and completed the job. Today, within the 14 day period, I drove to this store with all my documentation in order to get the price adjustment. The lady at the register couldn't figure out how to do the adjustment for the cut vinyl so she called for help. That person called the manager who said we don't do price adjustments this way. I explained the situation and someone for the stored told me they would. He said no again and would not do the adjustment. They are a very helpful and willing to lie to get your business. Once they get your money you are no longer important to them. I've never had an issue like this and Lowe's or Home Depot."

Their hometown people regarded them as being on a picnic. Faith, Hope and Charity, as they depicted themselves in their illustrated booklet on life at the Industrial School. Correspondence which came with one copy of the book identified Charity as Evalyn Peterson, and Faith or Hope as Lola Louise Peterson.

The big events that stick out were always the Welcome Weekend events/Welcome Picnic, Eyeball Dances, random parties and our “Class-giving’s.” However, some of my favorite memories came from the little moments with my roommates and classmates throughout optometry school!
